Below are a few of the readers kind comments and thoughts about
‘Where Angels Fear to Dream’
It was great to take the H.G. Wells/Olaf Stapleton approach of a panoramic history of the universe with humankind in the foreground. Excellent idea – should be done more often.

Each time I find something to make me think, and for a potted history of the universe is great.

The most wonderful poetry book about the history of our world from past, present to future. I’d like to say that I really loved it and agree with the message behind it.

Quite fascinating. But Marxism is dying a slow death.
Ultimately the existence of God (the form will differ from people to people, country to country etc)will gradually prevail.

I love how this poem, in a simplistic style, tells the history of mankind on the universe, while it also provides humor and satire as it critics our human-ways (or rather inhuman ways), our system of government, etc. It is in one word: wonderful.

The poem is great…It’s brilliant.. Evolution re-packaged in an artistic aspect. I loved it and will be part of my collections.

History and philosophy in poetrical verses express your viewpoint in your own Marxist passionate heart and eyes. I agree, I disagree.
We need proper diagnosis, proper treatment. We failed as yet to do that. Let us make the erroneous judgement HISTORY.
This is the route for liberating HUMANITY. I have still much doubt about the achievement possibilities. Our brain is born in chains……. is this version quite erroneous ?
Still we will drive and strive for continuing progress whatever might be the resultants. I felicitate you on your Marxist and Trotxite article in lyrical poems. I prefer not to be an ‘IST’ by anyone’s name, may be I subscribe some ideas of some persons for some times.

I loved it! Made me proud to be a Socialist. Really inspired me.

Dear Poet
My apologies for my late response. I’m still busy reading the copy that you sent me, and i must register that up to this far, i’m really intrigued by your poems, mostly because i’m a member of the communist university. So this is just mind blowing.
I’ll definately comment again after i finish reading the book.
Thanks

Dear Mr Poet,
the words and message of the poems portraits how the struggle and society evolves and how the classes and contradictions affects the evolution.

Hi,
I am not sure that as a Marxist that I understand what angels are doing in the poem. But the poem in a materialistic way describes the history of mankind. Thanx for a niece piece of poetry.

Wilf
Have you ever read Adam Smith?
Regards

Small business owner

wilf, im an economist. and of coarse i have read a. smith, his theory about invisible hand of the market. have you ever wondered why US had huge economic crisis in 30’s??? thats what happens when “invisible hand” regulates the market. if not Keyns (sorry i dont know how to spell him properly), US would stay in that crisis for very very long time. and what he did? institutional reforms and very much like marxist issues
he lobbied antimonopolism
have you ever thought where would your “small business” be if there was monopolism like in 30’s?
excuse me, but you dont know what are u talking about.
have you ever wandered why your country kills millions of people? remember IRaq, remember Vietnam. the OIL WAR. thats what your economy holds on.
The United States is sliding towards a dangerous 1930s-style “liquidity trap” that cannot easily be stopped by drastic cuts in interest rates, Nobel economist Joseph Stiglitz has warned…
well, excuse me for my poor english. Im from Georgia, post Soviet Union country, not a state (J. Stalin was from Georgia)
I’m a poet, artist and musician myself (and economist:))
and very very much active Socialite. Im very much pleased to meet you author. I hope you will write me back, so we could share some ideas
here, in Georgia, Ive created poetry group called “the pink bus”. we have regular art evenings and several books published..
Im waiting for your mail. we could create a worldwide net. we can change the world
like john lennon said. you can say im a dreamer, but im not the only one

Hi Wilf, do you remember me? I was the Jamaican lady engrossed in reading the latest draft of my (hopefully) soon to be published novel. You were collectig for a charity outside the Royal Free Hospital and as I was about to enter, you ‘accosted’ me with your book. Well, I read it in the waiting room and on the way home and thoroughly enjoyed it and admired the author greatly. Unfortunately, in the midst of building work I mislaid the book and couldn’t get in touch until finding it the other day. I must re-read it to refresh my memory but do remember being enchanted by it. You’re truly an inspiration, devoting your life to a single cause (too many of us disspipate our efforts and end up achieving very little)and exhibiting so much humour and energy in your dotage (by the way, re your photo above, what a handsome young man there lurks inside you!). Keep up the good work, from a fellow Muswell Hillite. Namaste. Carmen.

Hi, I grabbed your leaflet at Enfield Chase this morning and promised a response…..
I didn’t realise that you were a Marxist. Given this, I won’t be reading any further.
Didn’t you learn anything from what happened in the Eastern Bloc and China ?

I loved your poems, bring on the revolution !
