PAST
Now dream a little trip
Down a Galactic Atom Smasher.
What find we here,
But an endless road where small particles of matter
Are split and split and split again
And stars like ours both wax and wane.
For the Law of Motion’s absolute
And this may sound inscrutable
You have to try and understand
This matter’s not immutable.
Motion is the mode
By which all matter does exist.
To help you get the gist of what I’m saying
all is in a process of growing and decaying.
Forgive me please, I don’t digress,
The central point I have to stress.
Transforming opposites universally prevails
As will become apparent,
Through all these dream-like tales.
The essence of the question
And really quite detectable
Everything in Nature is -
Truly dialectical.
